Don't Be Held Captive!

There are so many words that hold us captive Spiritually, Mentally and Emotionally that we often times don't even realize if we are the Villian or the Victim. Meaning, we are doing or have done something to someone or something has been done or is being done to us. Amen!
Today I want to talk about Rejection, if you look up the word Rejection it holds power and is defined as:
The act of deliberately turning away from, refusing to accept, or excluding someone or something. Ask yourself how many times have you rejected someone? You didn't want that person around? You refused to give them a second chance because you wanted things your way or things didn't go how you wanted it to go?
How many times have you brought forth new ideas to a group or on your job only to be rejected over and over again?
When we experience rejection we do have the choice to accept it or move on from what we've been denied.
I say all this to say we serve a Savior who is welcoming, forgiving, loving and kind. We serve a Savior that regardless of what we may have said or done is not quick to reject us but He is here to Refine, Renew and Restore us! Amen.
We serve a forgiving God. My point is Exam yourself and how you treat one another. Stop being afraid of change, learn to love, learn to forgive, learn to say you're sorry and stop rejecting people throwing them away because they don't meet your standards or your expectations. Sometimes God wants us to realize the change needs to come within ourselves.
Stop rejecting and turning your back on folks learn to see the good in others just as they need to look and see the good in you!
Stop being content and afraid of challenges as well as changes.
Life is always going to change, but the good news is the God we serve remains the same.
Start accepting others rather than rejecting others if you get to know someone or let them use the gifts that they have you might just be glad you did!
