Tithes and Offerings

There is a song that says... If you want to be Blessed, Pay your tithes and your offering. If you want to have more, just give it to the Lord. And the Lord will give it back to you.
Scriptures tells us in Malachi 3:10 Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this,” says the Lord Almighty, “and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that there will not be room enough to store it.
God views tithes and offerings as a matter of the heart, emphasizing cheerful, generous giving over legalistic obligation, designed to support ministry and trust Him.
Alot of people get it twisted and think that all Pastors are living off of the money that is collected during tithes and offering during service. let me keep it real with you and tell you that is not the case with all churches. Tithes and offerings are biblical practices of financial stewardship, where a tithe is traditionally 10% of income given to the church, while offerings are voluntary gifts above that amount. Tithes support church operations, while offerings often fund special ministries, missions, or community needs. Both are encouraged as acts of cheerful giving, gratitude, and faith... Amen! God Blesses us with so much and asks so little of us in return. It is often sad to see how someone will not even bother to put anything in the collection plate to help with the up keep of God's Kingdom but will spend their money on other things with a quickness. Nothing from nothing leaves nothing, meaning don't expect a Blessing if you can't be a Blessing to what our Heavenly Father asks of us. Start treated God's house the way you would treat your own. When we talk about the upkeeping of God's Kingdom, lights, water, lawn care, snow removal all have to be taken care of. Supplies need to be replenished. These are all the things that you would need to maintain the upkeep at your own residence.. Amen! Why can't we do the same for our Father's house? Think about it and step up and do what God requires you to do! That's just my two cebts worth and some change.
It's All Love,
Assistant Pastor Dawn Marie Crowder
